ich arbeite mit protools (digi002-pult) über windows xp pro und habe
seit kurzem das reason-programm.
ein evolution-keyboard sollte mein reason-programm ansteuern.
das funktioniert auch, sobald ich protools nicht an habe.
das keyboard ist mit USB am rechner angeschlossen.
meine vorgehensweise war wie folgt:
ich öffne protools und wähle über inserts reason an.
es funktioniert auch super, so lange ich per maus im reason
arbeite. nur: das keyboard ist außer funktion.
ich habe bei "preferences" in reason alles mögliche umgestellt,
aber ich bekomme immer nur das rote kreuz für fehlermeldung,
was das keyboard betrifft.
es scheint, als sei reason von protools besetzt.
öffne ich eine abgespeicherte protools-session und reason will
als dazugehörend starten kommt folgende meldung:
"reason
midi input problem. one or several of the midiinputs could not be
opened. they might be use by another application. open the preferences
dialog and check your settings."
da habe ich in preferences nun alles umherprobiert - ohne erfolg.
klicke ich dort auf das red-x als fehler-symbol, dann erscheint
folgender text:
reason can´t open the midi port selected for the control surface.
please make sure thatthe drivers for the midi interface or device
are properly installed and check that no other programm uses the midi-
port.
kennst du dieses problem?
weißt du vielleicht eine möglichkeit, um das problem zu lösen?

hallo!
der grund für dein problem ist, dass pro tools in dieser verbindung auf host und reason auf slave geschaltet ist. dh: du musst dein keyboard auf den midi eingang von pro tools hängen und dann bei midi in/out aufs reason routen.
ich persönlich arbeite mit cubase + reason und bei cubase läufts halt so...
ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es in protools ähnlich laufen wird!
